 Barbara Susan Custen (class of 1970) posted this on another website: 'George Frederick (Frantz) Custen died suddenly May 10, 2003, of a brain aneurysm. George had earned his PhD from the Annenberg School of Communications, University of Pennsylvania. He had authored two books and numerous journal articles as well as being a Guggenheim Fellow. George was a Professor of Communication at CUNY, Staten Island. He resided in Brooklyn, New York as well as Montgomery, Vermont and Venice, California. My older brother Martin and I survive George and we both miss him very much. George's years in WWHS were enjoyed and remembered fondly by him. ' Posted By: Administrator - 12-14-2007 Views: 3393 |
