Karen Schattman  We received the following note from Karen's sister Stephanie.  'Karen and her husband did live in Conroe for a number of years, and were living in Austin until her death.  I remember Karen mentioning meeting someone she knew from Whitman and that they were in contact.  Undoubtedly, it was your friend, Alex.  Although Karen had been ill for several years, her death was unexpected to us and we miss her. '
