Hi All,

I had such a great time at the reunion...  from parties and pillow talk in room 1023--to buzzing under the covers stories on Fri--to seeing everyone cleaned up nicely on Friday night--Pine Tree on Sat--dancing my ass off Sat night--brunch on Sun and Smitty's Sun night.  Pidgn, Christie and I stretched it out as long as possible and did some factory outlet shopping in Riverhead on Monday...  then tearful departures at the airports!!  It was so great to see all of you along the way.

Anyway, just wondering if anyone has any photos of my brother on Sat night.  He was sitting back in a corner in a wheelchair and ENJOYING every minute of the girls dancing... and visitors from way back when.  I remember several cameras clicking near him during the evening...  and I wonder if anyone happened to get any shots???  If so, please send to me at Kimberley@KHeilig.com

Many thanks to all--especially the reunion committee for making it all possible!  (You too, Garry--hehe!)

Hugs,
Kim

Kim - your bro is a lucky guy.  Funny story: Lisa Hartmann came up to me and said, 'Hey, there's this guy back there in a wheelchair and nobody is talking to him right now.'  I said, 'Let's go.'  So over we went - talked with his nurse, found out he couldn't respond but could understand.  He got our lei, and we talked with him, hung out, etc.  And he seemed very happy about it.  In fact, after a while, he somehow indicated to his nurse guy that he wanted to communicate via some secret system they have... I could see them busily communicating.... and after a while I said, 'What did he say?'  And the nurse said to me, 'He wants to dance...' pointing to Lisa, beautiful, blonde ... '... with her!'  So I said, 'Lisa, young and blonde wins over old and brown any day - you come over here and sit next to him!'  She did, they smiled a lot.

Anyway - you rock for having made that a special evening for him.   Sorry I didn't get any photos, though -
