Wasn't Jack Hartmann just the CUTEST on that golf team?!?!?!?
Not nearly as cute as those softball team members! Wow, these are
GREAT photos, what memories.....thanks to all involved in getting these
from Donna's keepsake chest to the display here.
Hey Richie - Thanks for posting the photos. They're a good add to our yearbook collection.
PS: HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!! I just saw the announcement on our class website.
And Donna, what can I say.... Thank you, Thank you, and Thank you !!!
Your efforts helped restore our 'complete' 1968 yearbook -- with OUR spring and OUR memories.... Way to go girl !!!! (smile)
And it's was fun talking to you too. I'm glad I could help with the scanning.
Katie, I will send you the photos (jpeg) files that I sent Smitty. They have a better resolution and you can see a lot more. Anyone else, who would like them, just let me know.
WOW. Now, that was like being given the supreme gift of a peek back in time - they weren't the images I have kind of memorized from the yearbook, but ones I honestly didn't know existed. The Gym Night ones... I would give my right arm to be able to see individual faces in those photos, but I did copy & enlarge it & we went into little pixelations... drat! But - incredible. THANK YOU for going to all the trouble!!! Wasn't Jack Hartmann just the CUTEST on that golf team?!?!?!?

OH NOOOO, two of you sent me the original scans!!! Do I need to now send, return mail, my right arm?!?!?!? THANK YOU Bobby and Smitty for the delightful response!
Susie,
Hi, it's Donna. To save you some time and effort, the supplement has been found and scanned (see page one of this tremendously long 'back and forth ' prompted by Bobby's original query.) It is posted on the yearbook section of this website.
So, did you happen to get my Email? I sent it to the address you had posted under your contact info. I can try again if you didn't get , but if you did, I love to hear back from you. I'd like to play a little catch up. Hope you are well. D.

Bobby, Hi,
Your welcome again. Hard to believe that your simple question has turned into 2 pages on this message board. And look how happy we all made Katie!!!
I had a thought after we talked. Do you know anything about Joe Milichio? (sp?) I just thought his name may have come up at the reunion and I was just curious. D.
Yeah, I remember we spoke at the reunion about the supplement. Funny how a 2 minute conversation turned into 2 pages of good conversation.
--- And we found it !!! (Thanks to Donna) and we had a good time along the way.
Let's see Joe Malichio - Great guy - missed him at the reunion. I know Johnny Fletcher keeps in touch with Joe. I'm sure he can give you Joe's contact information.
PS: As a point of WWHS history (a very minor point) --- It seemed in those days we had a lot of rock bands. Joe M, Cliff Vicar, Billy Brunet, Johnny Adams and I formed a band called 'the Apaches'.... - we played at sweet 16 parties mostly. Joe M played drums, Billy sang and did bass guitar, John Adams and I played guitar and Cliff Vaccaro had all the talent. (smile)
We weren't the best band around, but, boy, did we have a lot of fun and some great memories..... I can remember laughing so hard at practices in Joe Malicchio's basement, my ribs hurt (smile).....
Anyway, check with John about Joe M. By the way, John was in a competing band called the “Rotundas” . If you talk to John, tell him the Apaches were way better :)

Not exactly on topic...but close! I was digging through an old cedar chest in the garage looking for something from my Navy days and found a copy of our 'Last Will and Testament' where we left stuff mostly to teachers...the paper is still in pretty good shape other than a few phone numbers I scribbled on the back 40 years ago! (Wish I know who they belonged to at the time!) Don't know why I kept it because as I reread it I noticed that I didn't bother leaving anything to anybody!!
Smitty...should I scan and email you...if anyone is interested you can post it somewhere on the site. Let me know either email (jerry.petry@nbcuni.com) or reply to this.

Thought I'd say something to keep this going....
I've been wondering where everyone was hiding for the past week. Down here in Mayberry we're all sittin' porchside waiting for that Last Will to show up.....
... and oh yeah, election results, too.
And another mini-reunion upcoming..I will be in California on business the week of 11/17, so I am visiting Chris Green and Kim Bank while in the area. Can't wait to see what interesting plans those 2 ladies have cooked up for me...The fun continues...
Yes, we have some fun planned for Smitty. Let's see if he can keep up with the wild west coasters. Something tells me he'll do just fine!
We had a great time last weekend with Jerry and Mary Joy down in Simi Valley. The food at Judy Abarno and Ed Windsor's was fabulous and there was no lack of conversation. Jerry brought the Last Will and Testament and we did enjoy reading it. Too bad most of us had forgotten the meaning of the cryptic bequests!
We'll send some photos from this week's escapades! Love, Christie
Hi --- Just wanted to wish everyone a happy holiday season. I'm enjoying the conversations on this forum,
.... Let's see how long we can keep it going (smile).....ho ho ho
I check the website every day and notice Bobby's message was the first one in a long while! I wish people would communicate more--we're all busy, and getting on with our present lives. Happy Holidays to all---from GEORGE MASELLI!
It IS fun to continue this thread and I want to wish all of you reading this a very wonderful holiday! I continue to marvel at how much I enjoyed your collective company and look forward to more of it in the years to come! xxoo
