Great work, Steve. You have the search skills we welcome. Now, if you
can locate folks like Jim Graham or Julia Isackes, you just might earn a
bonus check.
Which one of you guys played 2nd base? Who was the catcher?
Vaughn...If I had more time, I would help. You know that. My motivational business takes up most of my time and the rest is devoted to play. Just like when we were kids.
John Fletcher is the second baseman and Frank Clancy the catcher in what I like to call Eight Men Left In.
I did play LL with Jim Graham. He was a carcher with the body built for a backstop.
I graduated in 1970 but played Varsity in 1968. I remember John and Frank. Also can remeber Steve Henry, Harry Waller . I rmemebr my first Varsity appearance as a pitcher in 1968, came in with bases load and 2 outs against Northport . Their best hitter came up , Doug V , I threw a sinker and hit hit the ground. Runner broke from third , Icovered honme and Frank flipped it to me and tagged the runner out. I got lucky. Steve, can you remember the play ?
Hi I played baseball for WWHS and graduated in 1976. I have been trying to find Coach Lewis.
If there is anyway you can let me know how to reach him that would be great.
The HS is trying to honor the 75 and 76 teams and we would love to get the Coach there if possible.
Thank you for any help.
