Marguerite ( Margie) Oertel  was pregnant with her daughter Meagan,  when she was diagnosed with cancer. Although she could be treated, she would not jeopardise the life of her unborn child and refrained from treatment. Sadl, soon after the birth of her daughter in January 1990, she died of cancer. Margie left a husband and 2 children. We also have a graduation picture of Margie and other classmates on our Class Museum page.
